Individual music therapy typically takes place in your home or a community space. These sessions are one on one interactions with the music therapist and client that involve building a therapeutic relationship and using music as a medium to address the client's specific goals and needs. Sessions can take place with clients of all ages.

Group sessions

Group music therapy sessions can take place in a variety of community settings. Group sessions can promote social interaction, encourage teamwork, and provide a supportive environment for individuals to express themselves and build connections through music. In group sessions, the therapist aims to address physical, emotional, cognitive, communication, sensory, and social needs. Sessions are client centered and tailored to meet the needs of the group. Interventions may include group singing, instrument play, songwriting, movement, collaborative improvisation, and more.
